Blessing of the Animals

On Saturday, October 4, from 10:00 to noon St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church will celebrate a Blessing of the Animals at Cahoon Park. Please join us in the park on the east side of Union for a service of blessing celebrating St. Francis of Assisi (patron saint of animals). Individual pet blessings will be given by priests, and each pet receives a special tag and blessing card. Bring photos if your pets are too skittish to come in person. We will also have a memorial service for pets who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge as well as a memorial table for photographs and/or ashes. Stellar Coffee’s Satellite Truck will provide coffee and the Roswell Humane Society will be in attendance.
